We come from Burlington, Ontario, Canada to make music and blog about it. This blog is run by us, the 5 individuals who are Silverstein (Shane, Paul, Billy, Josh & Paul Marc). 14 years together, 1400+ shows and a whole lot of memories.. we're just getting started. Check out our latest release, "This Is How The Wind Shifts : Addendum"

We are pleased to announce that we will be participating in this years Record Store Day!  As fans of music, vinyl and the many great independent record stores in North America, we couldn’t be more to contribute a release this year.
On April 16th, 2011 head down to your favourite local independent record store and pickup a copy of our Support Your Local Record Store 7”.
This A side will feature the track “The Artist” (off our upcoming album Rescue) with 3 very special cover songs on the B side as follows:
Pits & Poisoned Apples (Kid Dynamite)
Hearts (American Nightmare)
Fuck The Border (Propagandhi)
These 3 bands are some of our favourites from the era of melodic hardcore / punk that we grew up with in the late 90’s and early 2000’s, and it has been a lot of fun recording these songs and playing them live.
